Camelie Exhibition in Locarno

The 27th edition of this renowned Ticino exhibition will take place from 18 to 22 March 2026 at the Parco delle Camelie in Locarno. The exhibition, curated down to the smallest detail, features more than 200 varieties of camellias. The heart of the exhibition is the splendid Parco delle Camelie in Locarno, which covers an area of 10,000 square metres on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The structure is part of the “Gardens of Switzerland” circuit and boasts the “Garden of Excellence” label awarded by the International Camellia Society to the most beautiful gardens with the most significant plant collections. The garden is home to over a thousand plants and almost as many varieties of camellias, which between March and April offer visitors the chance to admire them at their peak of flowering and beauty. For Camelie Locarno, the park will also host floral installations, a bar and the traditional plant market. As every year, there will be plenty of side events, including the traditional camellia concerts.
